Solstice Antarctica will commence on Friday 22 June with the Veolia Solstice Lantern Parade through the streets of
At 8pm on Friday 22 June, the gates to Princes Wharf 1 will close for a ticketed night of live music. Join Ash Grunwald to celebrate the Longest Night of 2007. Ash Grunwald is a nationally acclaimed Blues and Roots Artist who will be headlining the program in a night of music, dancing and winter soul food.
On Saturday and Sunday 23 and 24 June, the festival continues with an Antarctic-themed art fair, ice carving, book readings, a blues and folk music program, science activities and exhibits, the Hobart International Airports Active Outdoor Wear Fashion Parade, a Cosmodome, a songwriting competition, cold climate food, an ice bar and much, much more...

Artists, scientists and retailers with an interest in the Antarctic, cold climates or extreme environments are invited to be part of the experience by downloading the appropriate expression of interest document below:
